Hey guys and gals

I have been approached by a family friend from Maidstone about a possible performance opportunity down in Kent. the event is run by a church in maidstone and they have booked a field and a event hall for the whole thing. There will be all sorts there. And apparently some funky drama like thingy about death!?!?! The whole event is for Charity and should be well worth it. The event is on Saturday 15th September and lasts from 10am to 10pm.

The general idea for this is that we have our own area (we shall claim a place when we get there) and for the event we have been asked to do workshops, performances and walkabouts. (so yeah just our normal showing off style event) :) As it starts to get dark we shall be breaking out all our funky lighting and uv stuff. If all goes well ill have my generator there as well so we can plug mains stuff into it. This means UV lights as well if you wanna mess around with tape and stuff again :) The performances could include a stage show. If so we shall be bringing our own music for it and it will prob be a standard freestyle type show. unless peeps want to do a choreographed show then if you can convince all of us to go through with that again then cool :) (I say good luck though) hehe kidding.

We have actually been asked to provided have every possible skill we can so there is a great opportunity for all of you to show stuff that we don’t often do. So we want. Poi, Staff, DS, Contact, Juggling, Diablo, Devil Stick, Uni, Stilts, Bar Flair, Cigar etc... And this means Standard, UV and Glow, (Fire is on the ropes but not confirmed, Will let you know later about that) The list goes on.

Anyways I know its a long way away for a lot of you, however the church is making us a donation (so to speak) so that all our transport is paid for, as well as ALL drink and food we want all day. Now as its such a long event, in no way do we expect you to be full on the whole time. In the end the whole idea is to have fun so do as much or as little as you like. For those who wouldn’t want to travel on the event day we can organise a place to stay. I am speaking to family about this as I think we shall be too knackered to function. So there should be a place to crash at mine if we go ahead with it.

Currently that is all the information I have about this. I have told them what we can do and asked what they want in more detail. They shall be getting back to me as soon as poss about this and I will update as I know. KEEP AN EYE ON THE FORUMS obviously I mentioned that distance for us will be a problem therefore we want a general idea of peeps that may want to go. We would like as many of you as poss as it should be a fantastic laugh.
